In celebration of the Year of Faith as proclaimed by Pope Benedict XVI, St. Joseph Church in Maurice will have Ms. Pamela Avelanossa from the Philippines to come and give her Testimony of Faith.  The evening will start with the 6:00 pm Mass, and she will talk after the Mass.  A light reception will follow in the church hall.

 

It was through the Intercession of Father Arnold Janssen, SVD, (Founder of the Society of the Divine Word - SVD's) that Pamela was healed miraculously from a deadly accident, and this miracle was used on October 5, 2003 for the Canonization of Saint Arnold Janssen, SVD.
