The North Region of the Diocese of Lafayette includes all church parishes in St. Landry Civil Parish and Evangeline Civil Parish. There are 34 church parishes in the North Region, and 10 mission churches. The churches are located in the towns of Arnaudville, Basile, Cankton, Chataignier, Duralde, Eunice, Grand Coteau, Grand Prairie, Krotz Springs, Lawtell, Lebeau, Leonville, Mallet, Mamou, Melville, Morrow, Opelousas, Pine Prairie, Plaisance, Port Barre, Ville Platte and Washington. The mission chapels are located in Basile, Bellevue, Rideau, Prairie Laurent, Vidrine, Palmetto, Whiteville, St. Landry, Frilot Cove, and Belaire Cove.
