The Office of Stewardship and Development cultivates stewardship as a way of life and promotes the annual Bishop's Services Appeal in the Diocese of Lafayette.
God made the ultimate sacrifice for us; what can we give in return?

- Cultivating Stewardship as a way of life through model education programs, pouch mailings, annual Stewardship Leadership Days and monthly Stewardship Reflections for the Parish Bulletin containing stewardship news, tools and information to pastors and parish leaders.
- Through educational programs promoting planned gifts to Catholic parishes, schools and apostolates by using the precepts of stewardship and revealing how the donor’s heirs and estate will benefit from a charitable gift.
- Consultation offered to parishes wishing to conduct a capital campaign.
