All of the above

Tools of the trades are changing in our Age of Information. Technology touches all of us in different ways,  whether we like it or not. Even those of us who don't like to change and don't like new things are touched by technology. Our homes are full of electronic gadgets and appliances that do everything from controlling the temperature to making the morning coffee. We can watch television on our computers and surf the Net on our televisions. Our cars are loaded with features that can warm up our car seats, provide us with directions and maps, indicate when an oil change is needed, and surround us with stereo sound.

Doesn't it make sense that our schools should be touched and changed by these modern technologies, too? Teachers use large screen projection devices connected to multimedia computers with wireless keyboards and remotes to do whole-class learning activities. Students check their homework assignments on their teacher's website or E-board and then develop multimedia projects for homework.

Some people used to believe that technology would replace the teacher -- never! Technology is another tool educators and students use to improve learning.
