Priesthood Ordination of Rev. Mr. John Dugas

   Deacon Dugas will be ordained by Bishop Douglas Deshotel on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Abbeville.

   Deacon Dugas, a Loreauville native born in 1995, is an alumnus of Loreauville High School and holds a degree in philosophy from St. Joseph Seminary College in St. Benedict. Sponsored by St. Joseph Parish in Loreauville, he successfully completed his fourth year of theology at Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans.

     John, son of Joel and Fran Dugas, will celebrate his First Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Loreauville on Saturday, June 9th, 2024, at 10:30 AM.
