Inaugural Masses will be celebrated on Saturday for the Great Novena! The year 2033 marks the 2,000th anniversary of our Salvation. To prepare for that momentous jubilee, Bishop Deshotel is inviting the faithful of the Diocese of Lafayette (and beyond!) to join in a Great Novena: starting September 14th with the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross, we will begin nine years of prayer and reflection to better dispose us to the grace of what God has done for two millennia and what he will do unto eternity.
Inaugural Masses will be held on Saturday, September 14th, at the following Churches:
St. Martin de Tours at 8am. The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist at 8am. St. Mary Magdalen 9am.
