"White Coat Mass" for Healthcare Professionals

The tradition of the White Coat Mass, which is held on or near the Feast of St. Luke, provides an opportunity for Bishop Deshotel to join area physicians and other healthcare professionals to join together in worship.  All medical professionals are asked to wear their white coast as a sign of unity and connection with the intention of this very special Mass.  The Mass, which begins at 6 p.m., and reception to follow are sponsored by Our Lady of Lourdes with the support of the Catholic Medical Association and the Lafayette Parish Medical Society.
