"White Mass" to Offer Prayers for Healthcare Community

     Bishop Douglas Deshotel will celebrate the annual White Mass on Tuesday, October 18th at 6PM at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Lafayette.
      The Mass, sponsored by Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center and the Diocese of Lafayette, recognizes the ministry of those who protect life and care for the ill and dying, such as physicians, nurses, compassionate care ministers, ministers of consolation, chaplains, mental health workers, and all in the medical profession. In recognition of the dedicated work of Catholic health care professionals, Bishop Douglas Deshotel will extend a special blessing to those who attend.
