Marriage Anniversary Mass

The Diocesan Marriage Anniversary Mass is sponsored annually by the Office of Marriage and Family Life. This celebration is hosted by various church parishes throughout the diocese, during the month of February. One Mass is designated for the recognition of couples who are celebrating 25, 40, 50, 60, or more years of married life within that calendar year.  

The 2026 Marriage Anniversary Mass will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Youngsville. Bishop J. Douglas Deshotel will be the celebrant. 

All registered couples will receive a certificate in honor of their marriage anniversary. Reserved seating is only available for the couples being honored. Family & Friends are welcome to attend the Mass on a first come first served basis until max capacity has been reached. Registration is required. The Deadline to register is January 26th. 

The annual Diocesan Marriage Anniversary Mass is made possible through donations to the Bishop's Services Appeal.
