Chalice Blessing

Bishop Deshotel blessed the chalices of Deacons Alex Lancon and Nicholas Ware, who will be ordained to the priesthood on Saturday, June 11, 2022. Th Deacons were joined at the Chalice Blessing by their parents, Edward and Janice Ware and Jamie Lynn and Brad Lancon. Also on hand to show their support for their soon to be fellow priests were Fr. Jared Suire, Vicar for Clergy; Fr. Blake Dubroc, Director of Vocations and Seminarians; and Msgr. Curtis Mallet, Vicar General of the Diocese of Lafayette.
