The Office of Pro-Life Apostolate invites all high school students to participate in the promotional poster contest for 2023 Pro-Life events. The top 3 winning posters will be used for the 2024 pro-life events including the official t-shirt, flyers for Festival de la vie, programs, etc. DEADLINE: Must be received by March 31, 2023. 2024 Festival de la Vie Poster Contest Entry Form

 Below are the requirements in order to enter the contest.

One Entry per Student; can work as a group but only one prize will be given

• Finished art size must be 11” x 17”
• Artwork must be original work;
  • May be created or enhanced digitally, but must be entirely original art by the student, and able to be printed to the required size for submission.
  • use of copyrighted material is prohibited
• Poster may consist of any medium (oil, acrylic, markers, pastel, collages, photography, canvas, computer generated graphic, etc.)
• Use the theme: 
  • May be creative and expand on the theme "Celebrate Life"
• Artwork must be received by March 31, 2023 to be considered
• Completed registration/waiver form must accompany the poster submission. Artwork becomes the property of the Diocese of Lafayette and will not be returned 
• Each entry will be evaluated on: originality, interpretation of theme, presentation of a pro-life message, and overall effect.
  • An award will go to the top three winners; one award per poster.
  • The winning poster will be the official poster for the 2024 Pro-Life Festival
  • Upon submission, all artwork becomes property of Diocese of Lafayette
  • All decisions made by the judges are final.
