The Office was created in the Diocese of Lafayette to consult, create, and coach youth ministry efforts in parishes. Fulfilling the desire of the great commission, our goal is to Love, Repair, and Encounter Jesus Christ with all Youth and Young Adults. My hope is that we assist in discerning and implementing the vision that God is calling for your parish.

"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect." -Romans 12:2.

Our goal is to offer touchpoints (Relational Ministry-driven encounters) and support with the four Deaneries. Each quarter, we will review our touchpoints and help further the vision of effective youth ministry in parishes post-Confirmation. We will effectively accomplish these tasks through the following:

Our office aims, through prayer, to allow the Holy Spirit to guide our steps.

Lastly, our Young Adult efforts will accompany successful ministry post-college into early family development. Our goals are to be a Church accompanied from the moment of birth to death, thus embodying the disciple’s journey on this side of heaven.
